Yahoo is the so far the best webhost i have used till now.Though i myself havent seen a lot of publicity about yahoo’s hosting but am glad that i have chosen to go forward with one of the best in the webhosting business.They got great uptime and what i really find best is the download speeds that they offer.Its really great.Yahoo truly defines the meaning of a good webhost.But regarding the price factor,they aint cheap but hey you cannot tag a price for the peace of mind you get for being with them .Their control panel seems to be real user friendly and they got a lot of programs which can be installed by a single click of a button.Their support is pretty much decent,they do respond to problems but they are not super fast in answering and all.It takes like 3-6 hours to get an answer.Since i get my problems fixed,the time factor is not a problem anymore.If they decrease their pricing then they will surely top the score in the webhosting business for sure

The big problem I find with Yahoo is that they try to do everything, and they end up being average at everything instead of great at a few things.

Their web hosting is the same in my opinion, I paid for 1 year (which will run out soon) and it was ok, not good enough to make me sign up again though when there are better value companies around for cheaper.

Good service, but not great to sum it all up

When it comes to pricing, their web hosting plan is not exactly cheap. Their standard package costs $19.95 while the one, which I selected, is the basic plan that charges $11.95 per month. Most users would not mind paying for the higher price as long as they know it is Yahoo here we are talking about. In terms of features, it has everything I need. With their price tag, no doubt their reliability is top notch and one of the best in the industry. I don’t ever recall seeing a downtime before. Yahoo hosting also provides good customer support and they will assist you from start till the end. Overall, if quality is your main criteria and price is not a factor then Yahoo is the right choice for your hosting needs.

Initially i started with my blogging career on 110mb for hosting my blog.But during the past 3-4 months my site started to recive plenty of traffic and the current webhost wasn’t good for me anymore.So i went searching for some good hosts to do the job and while i went shopping i was totally confused regarding which host to buy.I saw many big names like godaddy,dreamhost,yahoo etc but since yahoo is a real brand and has a good reputation so i gave it a try and well it was really surprising to know that we are really good at this.When i saw the control panel that yahoo provided i just fell in love.Its so easy to use when compared to the control panel provide by most of the webhosts and they are very much reliable too and never had any problems till now.So guys go with yahoo its the best

I have been using Yahoo as one of several hosting companies for over 2 years. There up time is top notch and their hosting is easy to use for anyone.

My only complaint is that their cost is higher than any of the other hosting sites I use.

I have tried a lot of hosting services. From my experience i know about this web host for the 2 months.
Their basic package starts at $11.95 per month and their standard package starts at $19.95 which are very high as many other web hosts give them for less rate. so I was not really happy with it
this was one of the main reasons why i doesn’t choose them.
They do not overload their servers and will not compromise on quality.
Anyway I recommend it mainly because it is a known brand to everyone

I know about this webhosting from the past 6 months as one of my friend is using. Their web hosting caters more to the newer internet crowd than advanced web hosting users since their packages are weaker than most web hosting companies in features and usability.Their basic package starts at $11.95 per month and their standard package starts at $19.95. As you can see, newer web hosting clients do not realize they are paying a higher price when they are going with Yahoo.Since having a close view on this webhosting for about six months, we never experienced downtime.Unlike most web hosting companies, Yahoo doesn’t provide much detail of their security infrastructure or network whereabouts. This prevents intrusion attempts and competitors from determining where they are located. Overall I can say is good as par as I like it.

I have been looking at for a different hosting service to host my website, but after looking at other testimonials for the other websites I believe I will leave it where it is longer.
The good thing about it is my website has never been down. My emails , never lost.
The thing I wish where different, being able to use PHP 5 and being able to edit the config file.
I have never had a SQL problem and have the basic bus. plan.
At one time I had a custom php shopping cart and on the fly php picture resizing. No problems.
They are hard to get a hold of but never had too.
I have hosted here for about 2 years, and now have unlimited space and bandwidth and email space.
Again, after reading the other testimonials , especially about the emails, I will probably stay. Losing emails would just about end our business.
However, you can only have one domain name per plan.”
