Few months back i have taken the Netfirms hosting account. Actually i am in search for good hosting to launch sites. I have been nicely trapped by those people. They offered me 5 domains for cheap price each 6$ and they told that they will give 25 MB free space. I have taken that package to for 30$ and after they provide the hosting with their own ads in my sites. So it becomes compulsory to take their paid hosting and not only that we need dot net support but to take it first two plans is not providing. so we have taken the last plan paying more than $150. Some how we are trapped but their support is not at all good. They will give reply after more than 24hrs. One more thing they wont provide full features with dot net. Sometimes our sites will go down. Only one positive is it will have good features for php sites. If ur launching php sites go for it. Otherwise keep away from it.

Well, to be truthful you honestly won’t find a better deal than the professional package offered at Netfirms. 5 domains and 300 Gigs of transfer and space for less than $8 USD per month is a killing. But whatever you do, don’t try to cancel your package. I loved my package there, but I sold the site I had hosted, and no longer needed my hosting. So, I called to cancel and they told me it was done. About 3 months later, my credit card was charged for an additional year. I spent over 15 hours on the phone with support and speaking to the higher ranking members of the company trying to figure out what was going on. Apparently people from lower-level foreign countries don’t understand what cancel means. After about 5 months and tons of negative reinforcement, I finally was refunded my money. Just be careful when trying to cancel your account, the support there is horrible. What else could you expect from support that is being payed an estimated twelve cents per hour…

If you are looking for a good web host provider for small, personal sites then Netfirms is a good choice among other webhosts.They provide easy access to the host and as far as my experience is concerned,so far it has been good and hope it remains good in future too
Since i am not much of a constant donator to my blog so i am very much happy with netfirms as they do not enforce any inactivity limit.I have only used once the email tech support because of the problem i encountered regarding ftp access,and i was really amazed regarding how fast they replied to me.They replied in less than 20 minutes.Now thats SERVICE

I am using the netfirms hosting account for the past 1 year. Up to now i have hosted different sites. The main features of netfirms are, they will provide hosting servers mainly on php. Their .net services are not up to mark. they different hosting plans. with each plan they will provide free wordpress, phpBB, Joomla features freely. These are main advantages of netfirms. All these are php based only. Coming to .net they wont provide all features and we have to request them to allow some of the features like ajax etc.,
They will give reply very fastly to the queries but their support is not up to the mark. I so much frustrated to their replies some times. Most probably i will shift my hosting account to another. In my opinion they will provide good hosting for php based sites but not for .net.

I have a personal experience with netfirms.Im using right now their service,the service they are providing is not upto mark. They are not responding fastly and their response may take 24 hours sometimes and probably may not solve the issue. Mostly they will provide good service for PHP platform. dotNet is not having full support and the platform for dotnet also wont works properly, i mean some of the code is not working in this server. But they will provide free wordpress installations and phpBB’s and joomla installations.
They have some positives and some negatives.
This is my personal opinion about the netfirms.
