I put them through the paces when I first joined and they were up to the challenge. They are very prompt with support and have made several special considerations to meet my needs. I would recommend IPower to all.
If you are considering to run sites or blogs which are resource hungry then IPower is the best host for your need. The tools and the search engine optimisation service that they provide really helps you get a better ranking.
Their new hosting plan for $4.95 per month is what i have bought at present and am really loving it.This company emphasizes and gives more value to the money that we spend. The best thing is they even throw away a FREE domain too.Their tech support is extremely helpful they will even wait for like half an hour or more just for a single customer(which i really loved). So ladies and gentleman do your self a favor and do stick with these guys as they will help you prose per as they are really sincere in what they do best
If anyone is looking to make an impact online then they can really benefit from web hosting provided by iPower.Their responsive customer service is something which you cannot do without as long as you are in the net making websites and all.
The entry level plan that they offer has a variety of advanced features like mysql databases, frontpage extensions etc etc which you will find really helpful. This is a webhost upon which you can put your trust and am sure it will not fail you.Well you will definably love their perfect uptime and their tech support will address your every issues and will get it fixed in no time.So my personal favorite is “iPower” and hope it will also become your fav once you join them.
IPower is not a bad host, but not a very good one either. I bought 2 years of it starting about 9 months ago, and I can’t say I’m fully satisfied.
The setup for IPower was less than convenient for me — after the domain and hosting finally got set up, PHP was disabled by default. After a couple hours of hassle I was able to get the support team to enable it. It turns out that MySQL is hosted on another server, so when connecting to a server with PHP, make sure not to try to connect to localhost.
If you’re somebody who will rely heavily on a convenient control panel and file manager over the web, then IPower is definitely not the host for you. Their control panel is sloppy and the file manager is the worst I’ve ever seen (I’m not even exaggerating). In addition, if you think you will receive a timely response with support, think again. Even though the wait might be sometimes an hour, it is usually worth it, considering the support team is competent.
On the positive side, using IPower through FTP has been a pleasant experience, since I don’t have to worry about the control panel. Upload and download speeds for FTP are better than many other hosts. I also use my hosting to host a personal email account, and it’s proved to be incredibly reliable.
I’ve never gone to my site to find that it’s down, but occasionally I’ll visit my site (which receives only a marginal amount of traffic) and it will take a while to load. Even during the times it is slow, I am thankful that it it is still up. With most of the similarly priced hosts, your site will experience a lot more downtime.
Overall, IPower is a decent host. It essentially depends on what you do and don’t need in a host. If you don’t need to use support and you prefer to use FTP over a control panel, IPower may just be the host for you. If you’re inexperienced with webhosting, you should consider spending a few more dollars a month to find a more user-friendly host (I’d recommend HostGator).
