I have been with Hostway with for the past 2 years with multiple domains hosted. The service and support are going downhill. Server goes down often, but they just say everything is Ok, even when we give proof. Tech support – from India & Eastern Europe – just do not know any technical stuff. To set up a Spf and Rdns record (so that email delivery will be better), they took weeks, several calls, several weeks. You can talk to any one knowledgeable or responsible. If possible, avoid them and go to a smaller service.
They recently decided they wanted to move us to a different server (shared hosting). It’s been a nightmare. Our store has been down for a week. Some machines resolve to the old server and some don’t (yes we’ve cleared all cache/cookies/etc… we add new files to the site and some machines can see them and some can’t)
Their support has been getting steadily worse, but this just takes the cake. No responses to emails, no updates from mythical admins who are supposedly working on this, I call in and they just tell me ‘the admins are working on it, it’ll be fixed in a few hours’… I’ve been hearing this for 3 days now.

Well people,Its been a long time i wanted to share this with all new web host searchers.Hostway ain’t the right way anymore.Most of my friends had webhosting account there and they told me how good hostway and their customer service was and all.So i gradually took my friends advice and invested the cash i earned by doing small jobs in marketing sites for their hosting plan.During the first week it went all fine.But during the middle of the second week a new problem arised.They suddenly sent me an unpaid invoice telling that i haven’t paid for the current month whereas my 1st month hasnt got over in the first place.I actually thought it was just a glitch in their program and just avoided it.But after the end of the 3rd week they canceled my hosting account.I contacted their customer service and told them about my problem.But they were too stubborn to understand it but after taking a lot of time.They again activated my hosting plan.I really thought that was the end of my problems.But think again this time its become bigger.Once in every 3 days my password seem to become invalid without even me trying to change it.I contacted customer service but they didnt take any heed to my problem this time.After that i quit their hosting for good.GUYS DONT GO FORWARD WITH HOSTWAY..ALL THEY TAKE IS YOUR MONEY AND NO SERVICE
