Over my 6+ years of working as a webmaster for a living, not just for the fun or thrill, I’ve finally found a host that suits me well. I’ve hosted with all of the great (1&1, HostGator, HostMonster, etc…), and I must say that Dreamhost has the best plans. During the current promotion, they’re giving a limited number of customers unlimited space and transfer which is always great. Not only that, but they let you host so much more content than any other hosts. Including RPGs and topsites. You also get to create your own mysql hostnames which is a great feature if you have higly sensitive data. My favorite feature, however, is that they give you free domains for life of your hosting account. No one-yearers here! I currently host all of my sites on there, and the uptime is fantastic. I would absolutely recommend Dreamhost to ANY customer regardless of intentions or purpose. You can’t go wrong when they give you everything!
I’ve been programming PHP and creating websites for about 5 years now and tried 2 different webhosts. First I went with Register1 because of all the good reviews I read, then decided to switch to Dreamhost because of the excellent price. I was willing to pay the ~$7/month until I saw a coupon code getting $95 off if I got a 2 year plan. I thought it might not be very good to the really low price, but in actual fact it is excellent. Every time I leave a support ticket, it gets replied to usually within 10 minutes. The longest I’ve ever waited is half an hour. The hosting has everything I need and every problem gets sorted really fast. It’s coming close to the end of my plan and I won’t be looking for another host because Dreamhost have been brilliant throughout. Highly recommended.
Although it’s still early for me to give a review about this site, but I do hope that my review can help people to choose the best hosting around here.
Anyway, I’m new with DreamHost. At first, I’m not interested using DreamHost, but after saw their promotion on November, which they give unlimited space and bandwidth with just $5.99, I’m interested with them and decide to use them as my web hosting for my new flash game site.
So far, I haven’t got any problem and never face a technical problem which need to talk to customer service.
The price for all plans are very reasonable with all service we can get from this site.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to use DreamHost as my web hosting for my next projects.
Dream hosting is a big brand with high praise. the international credit is excellent I held a website on dreamhost.With Using over 14 months of dreamhost hosting, the hosting is very good and never get drop.I think it is a good place to held a website.
I have been with Dreamhost for over a year. Their happy hosting plan has a lot of features that are very usefull. I have learned almost all my web dev skills while hosted with them. Their pricing is good for the features, but definitly not for the reliablility. Downtime is very common. Their support is not much better because they usually reply AFTER the problem is fixed. Value wise, it all depends on who you are. If you need reliablility, Dreamhost is definitly not for you. If you need a learning and testing environment, Dreamhost is perfect because of the features (unlimited sql, subdomains, shell access, etc….)
I have been with Dreamhost for around two years now and have to say that I am very happy with the service they have provided so far (and hope they will keep providing in the future).

I have had very few problems with the hosting so far and everytime I contact their customer support I have recieved a reply within half an hour telling me exactly what I was asking about (and not in a patronizing way).
To my knowledge their up-time has been very good – my sites have only been down twice (that I or one of my regular users has noticed), and each time for no longer than half an hour (and each time I recieved an apologetic explination of why the server was down).
The only part I have found which was slightly annoying was that they do not allow coldfusion code to be executed on their servers (and at one point it would have been nice for me to have it). Although this won’t even affect a lot of people I just thought i’d mention it – it’s not usually until you need something that it annoys you that it’s not there.
Overall I would recommend their service (and have done in the past), especially if it’s only for small sites like mine.
This is the other company I use as a host for my 2nd site.
Although the other host isn’t that bad, DreamHost makes it look like a cowboy operation.
They have a very fast turnaround time in terms of responses to emails, and the customer services representative that talked to was very helpful.
In terms of downtime, I personally have yet to experience any.
I would reccomend dreamHost to anyone, whether just starting up or for some one who has been in this business for a long time, and I always reccommend them to my friends, over any other solution.
Make sure to speak to one of their customer service representatives before placeing an order, and they’ll make sure you don’t have to change hosting packages halfway through

It has been 3 years with them and I am perfectly satisfied with them. They always tend to help you in any case, respond quickly to any customer services queries (which I tend to have much frequently).
Talking about downtimes, I haven’t faced any so far.
I am hosting a video sharing site, a high res wallpaper site and many blogs; cutting a long story short; it has been, it currently is and will remain DreamHost for all my hosting needs.
WoW like the name of the site suggests….Dream host is like the webhost of my dreams….By seeing their new offering That’s a $115.65 value being sold for just $9.95.
By seeing this i can understand that the DreamHost guys love sales very much
their dreamy hosting solution loaded with all the general common features plus with many unique offerings like adding new features every month and the amount of bandwidth and disk space you are allocated grows every week.Since WE get SOO much for about $9.95 a month and you just gotta LOVE their fast response times.
Although not long in the internet business, so far I’ve changed 3 different web hosts and out of those 3, I feel that Dreamhost is still the best. Generally what I like most about Dreamhost is that the hosting package is offered with a reasonable fee that comes with sizable amount of storage space and so far my experience with them shows that there’s always minimal downtime. Currently there’s an ongoing promotion that includes buying a domain for $9.95 and then getting 6 months of free hosting which I think is too attractive to pass by. If you are planning to switch to a new host, I suggest you grab this fast before it’s too late.

They provide decent amount of space and bandwidth and good uptime and the most attractive part about their offering is regarding their “competitive pricing technique along with their bundled offerings which is too good to pass out.Thats for sure”

Most of the times Dreamhost is really fast.Their support is really good and for the customers easiness they even got a support wiki which is just great for beginners and all .Their uptime is greally good and i do get good download speed to top it all up .They even provide a lot of tools for free and that gives you more control over the services which you presently and their new plan of “$9.95″ is too hard to resist.When i get my cash from bidvertiser am gonna get this plan soon.
Other than Bluehost, I also diversify my hosting plan to Dreamhost, which I think is also comparable in terms of quality and service. Although I was skeptical that they might not be able to fulfill my requirement on bandwidth but after trying for almost 2 months, I have confidence to review that Dreamhost is also one of the reliable web hosting company to add to my A-list. So far until today, there has only been one incident for which my site was down and luckily the period was quite short. I immediately called up the support department and they provided a good and detailed explanation and even gave assurance that customer priority is always their main consideration. That being said, is enough for me to put my trust in them.

I did experience some downtime once, but it only lasted about 10 minutes. I do wish they had an option to disable their HTML editor because it really messes up some codes if you use PHP. It also have great support and a good support system . For me this is one host you just have to try out. I promise you will LOVE it like me ;D!

I had to use the service from Dreamhost hosting about 2 years ago. At that time, I am looking for a hosting service for the three new website will be online soon. I get the information about Dreamhost from my friend that happened long enough to use their service.
After the registration and become a member, I immediately directed three domain name servers to them. In fact, according to my friend told me before, Dreamhost provides a good and more reliable services. Besides the price is quite cheap and large storage space, one of the things that impressed me is the downtime speed (there’s always minimal downtime).
I’m using DreamHost service for about 2 years. It was an incredibly offer, with 500 GB of hosting capacity for about US$ 60 per year.
I choose Dreamhost because I’m going to be crazy with the old local existing hosting provider. It’s provide me with 1 GB hosting capacity with same cost but with a limited features.
One of the lovely main feature in Dreamhost hosting is SSH access. With this feature, I could handle so many task without problem and with a simple and few task only.
For about 2 years, I only have a small issue with my hosting. I got some trouble regarding some website (it was down for about 1 hour or more, but rarely it took below 1 hour) but it was active again after submitting the support ticket or contacting their customer support.
I’m quite satisfied with dreamhost feature and support.
I have been using Dreamhost for 2 years now, never had any problems – and for the price I haven’t seen a better deal. I host over 60 sites with Dreamhost, for the money you won’t find better people for a shard hosting srevice.
Thumbs up for DreamHost. They did not shut down my site when it was consuming too much bandwidth. That is a very good move. Even I was suspended, it was with full refund.
Nothing is perfect. There are always some negative aspects. I find them a small issue, but they may be big issues for you, depending on your needs.
Their Hosting panel is Different from all other Hosting.They also maintain very high uptimes.
They provide UnLimited Storage, Bandwidth & all…
I never faced any problem with them & they respond very quickly when downtime occurs.
DreamHost also provides free domain for who takes hosting.
Dreamhost is The Best hosting…
They also provide fabulous discounts at some special days i.e., about $10.95/hosting/year + domain for the new customers…so you get hosting/year is approx. free as domain costs $9.99.
I am very much happy with Dream Host.
They also provide Status Updates of their Servers so we all can know if there is any problem with the server.
They also offer Private Servers but I haven’t tried them.

I used Dreamhost for about one year, and if I ever needed web hosting, I think that they would be my main choice. They are expensive, but that price can be lowered using a coupon code.
